Actor Dileep In 30 different costumes

Following the likes of Kollywood songs picturisations, debutant director Mammas has shot a song for his movie ‘Pappy Appacha’.

The lead actor of the movie Dileep was made to wear 30 different costumes for a hilarious, colourful song of the movie. The post production of the movie is over and will be offered to the sensors by the 3rd of April.

The movie featuring Dileep and Innocent in title roles, will get to theatres for this Vishu.

Kalabhavan Mani plays the role of school teacher

With the announcement of new educational policy by central government, there seems to be an increasing chance for youth to shine as teachers in schools.

Anyhow, actor Kalabhavan Mani is making a trail to check his performance as a teacher,in the new movie titled as Pallikkooddam’. To be directed by Jayachandran, the brother of actor Anoop, the movie will be produced by R P Surendran in the banner of Bhagya thara productions.

Shayam Dharman will set the music to the lyrics written by Beeyar Prasad and P T Biju.Cinematographed by M J Radhakrishnan, the movie will start its shot at Vandiperiyar in the month of May.

Shakeela returns to Malayalam

The glamour star of the last decades, Shakeela is back to Mollywood with the movie ‘Onnara Kallan’.

Realising that the time of ‘X’ rated movies is over in Mollywood, Shakeela will be trying her hands on comedy, this time. Planned as a hilarious affair, ‘Onnara Kallan’ will be directed by debutant Raviraj. Vallikkode Vikraman will script this movie, which will also feature many comedy stars of Mollywood.

The pooja of the movie will be held this week at the capital city. Planned to start its shoot by May, the movie will be cinematographed by Lal-Kannan.

Deepika stunts everyone with her stunt

Looks like our B-town babes are all game for risk and stunts these days…
Few days back we had it that Kareena Kapoor is shedding the glam for ‘Golmaal 3’, now here’s this slim beauty roughing it out for screen next.
Deepika Padukone who plays a tomboy in director Pradeep Sarkar’s ‘Lafange Parindey’, showed her daredevil side, much to the amazement of the crew and co-star Neil Nitin Mukesh.
According to sources, the sequence involved both Deepika and Neil to fall into a deep muddy pit. While Neil was strictly against Deepika performing the stunt, the beauty insisted to carry out the act. She even turned down the suggestion to use a body double.
Everyone in the unit thought it was too dangerous because Deepika had to walk straight into the pit and fall into the swirling muddy water. Once she fell in the pit only professional divers could help her come out. That’s how deep the hole in the ground was, revealed sources further.
But being a true sport, the gal went ahead with the risky stunt and said to have given a fine shot.
Hmm, the tomboy season is here, guys…!
